Books for Past Life Training

This is the reading list I recommend for people who will be taking my training course. The training is for therapists, but anybody curious about how past life regression really works can profit from reading these books.

Children's Past Lives is the book I wrote. It's relevant to past life therapy because it shows that we are born with emotional, mental, and physical patterns from previous lives. Some children have spontaneous recollections of previous lives--they don't need help remembering. Yet it takes methods and some skill to bring the memories to consciousness in adults.

It Didn't Start with You: How Inherited Family Trauma Shapes Who We Are and How to End the Cycle

by Mark Wolynn

This is the only required reading in preparation for the training.   Please read Chapters 6-8 on core language in this book.  We will be using a similar core language approach in the training for accessing relevant past lives.  Mark’s work is fascinating, so you may want to read the whole book and do your own investigation of inherited family trauma.  I found it to be very helpful and insightful work, and the book is very well-written. by Andy Tomlinson

From the Heart Press, 2005 A thorough, step-by-step guide for past life therapists, and a valuable reference book.

Children’s Past Lives

Below are some classics in the field that are old and sometimes hard to find:

Life Between Life

by Joel Whitton and Joe Fisher

This book was published in the 1980s and is the first to talk extensively about the after-life in regression therapy.  I checked Amazon, and there are only a couple dozen used mass market paperbacks available.  If you want to expand or create a past life therapy library, get this. 

You Have Been Here Before

Dr. Edith Fiore

Another classic in regression therapy. I featured this book in my first book Children's Past Lives. Available on Amazon new and used.
